Workshops
Workshops or other events can often be booked with the artists on dates around their Trust concerts. Most of this season's artists are available for performances in schools, community centres, homes etc. at economic rates.

Wihan String Quartet - Particularly suited to working with secondary age
children and players. They will be running a winter weekend for string players including
workshops / masterclasses and a joint student Wihan concert organized by Shropshire County School of
Music (Tel: 01743 874145)
Available also for any similar work / ensembles & individuals on dates around their

Voice / Guitar duo (Laura Mitchell / Ahmed Dickenson) -
Song workshops for all ages, and an introduction to the history of the classical song repertoire for
older children / adults
Innovation Ensemble (CBSO) -
City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra players can design purpose-made workshops and interactive concerts
for young people of different ages, and stimulating masterclasses for players
Consort 1700* Early Music (recorder also available) -
Primary and secondary schools, colleges and special schools - e.g.
a) relaxed 'interactive' concerts especially aimed at children and young people
b) workshops involving simple baroque dance and young musicians performing alongside Consort 1700
c) introductions to the form and techniques of Baroque music for GCSE students
ZUM -
World Music and Jazz interactive concert / demonstrations - all ages / 2 or 3 artists
W3 Winds* oboe / clarinet / bassoon -
A wide variety of Wind introductory and interactive concerts and workshops for all ages
English Chamber Orchestra / Manchester Camerata / City of London
Sinfonia / EU Chamber Orchestra -
